The GATERON Magnetic Jade Ultra HE is a next-generation Hall-effect linear switch built around an innovative Dual-Drive modular architecture. Designed specifically for magnetic keyboards, it separates keystroke mechanics from magnetic triggering for improved stability, cleaner signal control, and enhanced acoustic performance.

This is a premium Hall-effect switch engineered for smoothness, consistency, and long-term durability.

Dual-Drive Modular Architecture

The Jade Ultra introduces a split magnetic structure:

  • The upper section governs the keystroke feel

  • The lower section handles magnetic triggering


By decoupling the permanent magnet from the stem mechanics, GATERON achieves improved stability from initial press to bottom-out. The result is consistent actuation behavior with reduced wobble and smoother response across the full travel.

Magnetic Compatibility

This switch is designed specifically for Hall-effect keyboards using downward-facing N-pole magnetic configuration. It is not compatible with traditional mechanical (MX-style contact) keyboards.

Always confirm your PCB supports downward-facing N-pole magnetic switches before installation.


Visual Aesthetic

The translucent jade housing diffuses RGB lighting with a softened glow. Under bright lighting it appears clean and understated; in low light it reveals a deeper jade tone, adding subtle visual character to RGB builds.
